The Journey to

Its all about the journey– will yours be intentional or will you jump from activity to activity?

Let's Get Intentional and Pursue the Joy

The Journey to Christmas

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the season, the food, festivities, and celebrations with friends and family, it is easy to lose focus on exactly what this time of year is all about.

As Christian women, we want to prepare our hearts, seek to celebrate the birth of our Lord, but we also are scrolling Instagram, Pinterest, and listening to the influencers tell us what makes a ‘truly perfect Christmas’.

In addition to the pressure from without and within,  we have expectations about what we ‘should’, ‘ought’, and really want to do. This becomes a to-do list that never ends.  Include all the last-minute cookies for school parties, sick kids, elderly parents needing support, and the dog throwing up on the new rug and we are more likely to react rather than respond in love during this ‘most wonderful time of the year’!

In short, the overwhelm starts,  and the holiday wonder can shift into a love/hate relationship with the season– unless we have a realistic, intentional, perspective that allows us to choose where we place our focus.

That’s what Journey to Christmas Workshop is all about!

Join me:

November 11 from 12:00 to 1:30 EST

Live online

for a beautiful time of aligning with your best yes for this season.  If you are that gal that loves tiny white lights and hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and midnight services, but dread the thought of running on empty, come join me.

This is what you’ve been wanting! Something that gives permission to that beautiful part of you that is awed by the thoughts of all the things Christmas but especially the part about celebrating your Jesus!

This Christmas

be aligned and intentional!

This workshop will support and give you tools:

To refine your expectations of yourself for the month leading up to Christmas. Allow yourself to make some space so that calm and laughter and celebration in its truest forms take place instead of falling into the yearly cycle of do’s and do more’s.

If you see yourself in any of these statements?

  • You ‘hate’ conflict
  • You procrastinate because you might not have it all together and miss the opportunity
  • don’t know how or want to say ‘no’.
  • You avoid things because you feel like others may see you as too needy, too much
  • You don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.

This workshop will give you tools and language examples to work around all these feelings.

To feel aligned and have space to be intentional about your time during the holidays.  Take steps to identify what brings joy or what steals it.  Become aware and develop the lens through which you will  make choices. Create a bucket list of heart desires for this season that is not dependent on should’s and oughts.

To address the “This is what we’ve always done” stuff with curiosity.  Sometimes tradition becomes a burden instead of  joy-filled.  Get some tools to navigate new seasons and create new traditions. Create space to look at the way things are,  get perspective, and some ideas for new ways to find and keep the joy.

Let's Create Vertical Focus

Being an Aligned Woman

Hey you! Yes you- you beautiful soul!!

What if …

-this year you invested time and effort to be intentional and aware of your expectations and the reality of this holiday season, its traditions, its schedule and its demands?

-this year you had tools that supported you and your loved ones to make choices based on your priorities, your desires, your needs in this crazy year called 2021?

-you could respond with love rather than react, find peace when the world’s frantic creeps in?

To clarify–would you love to experience joy, presence, and grace to yourself and others instead of rushing from one thing to another?

Christmas will happen.  Meanwhile, you can make choices that can influence how you wake up the morning of January 2 with a smile, filled with wonder, and expectant for the things of the Father in the new year, or will you wake up worn out, crispy on the edges from running ragged the month of December.

I’m here with a plan!  Join me!

Journey to Christmas

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”  So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,  and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Luke 2:14-20

Let’s do this season like those who heard and believed and praised and let’s treasure this season as the gift that it is- full of wonder, awe, truth, light, and love!!

What others have said....
  • This workshop helped me let go of the thoughts that I was letting someone down because I had to say no.  Charlotte helped me understand that I was overthinking and they were fine with my no.

  • Being newly-wed , we were struggling to do things the same way as before we were married.  There were some hard conversations that had to happen.  I got permission and the language from this workshop.

  • I loved thinking about new ways to think about traditions. That what was important is not the activity but the feeling of the thing.
